2. RIVER BLUE
As the name suggests, the documentary focuses on rivers. The environmental consequences on rivers are all too easy to ignore when it is not your drinking water. This documentary gives an insight into the effects of dyeing and tanneries on rivers in India, Bangladesh, China and Indonesia. It specifically considers the environmental drain that jeans have on the world. The latter half of the documentary focuses on solutions and new innovative techniques so it’s not all bad!

3. THE PRICE OF FREE
This documentary focuses on India’s child slavery issues and the work being done to stop child labour. It follows the work of Nobel Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi and his organisation Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save the Childhood Movement). It’s hard to watch at times although Satyarthi’s determination and positivity is infectious and uplifting.
